Your Legal Requirements

In 2009 the Health and Safety Executive brought in a change to the legal requirements for all employers with regards to first aid at work. There is now a legal requirement to conduct a First Aid at Work Needs Assessment. This assessment will determine the numbers of First Aiders you require, the number, type and location of first aid kits required and the type of training course your staff will have to attend.

Previously there has been much confusion over the requirements for providing first aiders, first aid kits, and the level of training needed, but if you contact Open Airway, we can assist with this.
