This one day training course is designed to provide participants with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to safely handle and administer medication in a care environment.

Aimed at care staff, support workers, and healthcare professionals, our course covers the legal responsibilities, best practices, and practical procedures associated with medication handling, storage, management and administration.

Key topics include understanding different types of medication, safe storage and documentation, correct administration techniques, recognising and reporting errors, and maintaining accurate records.

Our course also explores the importance of person-centred care and communication when supporting individuals with their medication needs.
