Legionella Risk Assessment & Sampling

A Legionella risk assessment is a mandatory inspection of a property's water system to find and control risks of Legionella bacteria (which causes Legionnaires' disease), identifying factors like warm, stagnant water, sludge, and aerosol-producing outlets (showers).

The assessment identifies vulnerable points from "tank to tap", checks temperatures (hot >50°C, cold <20°C), looks for "dead legs" or unused pipework, and creates a plan for monitoring and maintenance, ensuring compliance with health and safety laws for landlords and businesses.

Our engineer will take water samples and test for various impurities, pH and the presence of Legionella bacteria.
