Dementia Awareness

Our dementia training provides essential skills for carers and professionals, covering awareness, communication, person-centred care, and managing challenging behaviours.

Training is tiered for different roles (all staff, direct carers, managers) and focuses on empathy, understanding dementia's impact, and practical support for people with dementia and their families.

Our one day, Tier Two training course provides care staff across all sectors with theoretical and practical training to equip them with the necessary skills required to perform their duties with confidence, respect and compassion.

Our sensory deprivation exercise is second to none, allowing all who attend to experience 'dementia' in real life, thus increasing effectiveness of the individual.

We also explore the challenges to come with dementia on a national scale, and drill down into the main types of dementia including:

  • Alzheimer's
  • C.T.E.
  • Vascular Dementia
  • Lewy Bodies
  • Parkinsons
  • Mixed Dementia
