| Course Introduction |
| This is a one day course that is aimed at all employers and employees who handle or prepare food for consumption in the workplace. It is now a legal requirement for all those who deal with food at work to attend a basic food hygiene course. |
| Course Aims |
| At the end of the course all the candidates will have gained knowledge of the requirement for personal and preparation area hygiene, pest control, food preparation, temperature and storage. If you require any further input in specialist areas please liaise with your tutor prior to attending this course. |

| Tutor and Certification |
| Open Airway will utilise one of our tutors with specialist knowledge in this subject area whose qualifications are acceptable to the Health and Safety Executive. Successful delegates will receive a certificate of attendance, valid for a period of two years, that will fulfil your legal requirements under the new Food Hygiene Legislation that came into force in January 2006. |
