Course Introduction

A one day programme aimed at first responders, co-responders or people who may be called upon to deal with cardiac arrest situations where a defibrillator may be required.

Course Aims

By the end of the course candidates will be able to demonstrate the essential knowledge and skills needed to deal with cardiac arrest and the use of the A.E.D.

Course Award

The course tutor will carry out an ongoing assessment and all successful students will receive a certificate of attendance valid for a period of 6 months as in the Resuscitation Council guidelines.
